Simply Marchesa: New York Fashion Week
February 9, 2008
The New York fashion Week has created a wave of excitement among the fashion districts. Every fashion lover is just too crazy to have a glimpse of the designer collections being launched by the fashion tycoons. Many renowned fashion designers such as Philip Lim, Balenciaga, and others have contributed towards defining the fashion that will dominate the trend this year.
The designer apparels introduced by Marchesa New York fashion Week reflect her stylish sense. She has always been influenced by the feminine and the delicate. Therefore, the whole designer collection oozes with a feminine flavor. The delicacies of the fabric roses that complement the beauty of her outfits are gorgeous. You are spellbound for a moment and wonder if you have come to an idyllic place when you encounter her garments. It is for sure that the silhouettes designed by her can be rarely worn in reality. But, the sense of exclusivity of her gowns and the delicacy of the laces, feathers and folded flowers, is simply incredible. I love the elegant gowns. They flaunt the magnificence that can actually create an awesome air around you. It is just that she has not gone anywhere beyond her regular style. I would have liked to actually witness something beyond this regularity. Anyways, the entire collection, on the whole is really magnificent.

Leafy Neck Ruffs
January 21, 2008
I think that till date we have paid a lot of consideration to flowers, ignoring the beauty and the delicacy of leaves. We often talk about floral prints and floral accessories. I find them very appealing and peppy. I have often overlooked the fact that even the leafy prints can look extremely striking.
I was totally astounded when I came across these stylish neck ruffs in the shape of leaves. This is extremely innovative. I found this concept too exciting and actually an Endeavour which would improve the importance of leaves, which have hitherto been ignored. These modish neck ruffs serve two purposes: protecting you from the winds in the win5ers and making you look more chic. This is actually something very creative and glamorous. The shape of the leaves is highlighted by threads used in contrasting shades. You can also get these made according to your taste by placing an order at The Candy Thief. I think that no onlooker can overlook you when you are wearing such a fashionable accessory.

Truly Romantic
January 12, 2008
Romance is in the air these days. I just stumbled over the collection by Rita Saardi, which is suffused with the feeling of immense romance. The designer actually does not believe in any sort of artificialities. She actually champions natural and sumptuous feelings. This Swedish Designer, who has had Lebanese and Turkish roots, thinks that fashion is not about aping the trend but it is to be your own self.
The collection is suffused with charm and vitality that has nothing to with fabricated details. The whole collection gives a feeling that is tremendously overpowering and fascinating. The sensual outfits that have been designed by the designer with Turkish mentality display a world of dreams. It just looks as if you are full of lovely feelings and are hypnotized by a wishful romance. It seems as if you have entered the idyllic world with this pristine collection. Hats off! The immaculate thinking of Saardi is commendable. In my opinion, the designer has maintained her love for nature and simplicity. The outfits ooze with a sense of elegance and beauty.

Karl Lagerfeld with Unique Designs: Paris Fashion Week
October 8, 2007
Paris fashion week which has created an enthusiasm among the people crazy about fashion, is renowned because of the exclusivity of designs that are exhibited by the world-famous fashion designers. The designers from across different nations work hard for the gala event to be acclaimed as a success.
One such man is Karl Lagerfeld who is famous for the unique designs and patterns of the silhouettes, accessories and various other products that are a part of his arena. The sense of luxurious taste is very much apparent in his designing. Just sneak a peak at the beautiful bags, shoes, other accessories, and also the designer wear collection for spring/summer 2008. I am sure that his creations have amazed you too as they are beautiful to the extremes.
I especially like the little red bag worn by the model on her ankle and the round black bag on the extreme right. The star-shaped bangles look fabulous. The glove and the head accessory are also chic. Other designers flaunting their collection at the Paris Fashion Week were Tsumori Chisato, Alexander McQueen, Vanessa Bruno, Stefano Pilati, Tao Kurihara, Sonia Rykiel, Balmain, Vivienne Westwood, Junya Watanabe, Robert Normad, Christian Lacroix, Gaultier, Dice Kayek, Stanislassia Klein, Karl Lagerfeld, John Galliano, Andrew Gn and many more.
The Paris Fashion Week: Junya Watanabe
October 4, 2007
When it comes to fashion legends, a designer like Junya Watanabe is always mentioned. The designer collection by this skilled stylist was presented to the audience on 2 October 2007 at the Paris Fashion Week. The reaction of the audience came out as expected. Every one was amazed and for a moment flabbergasted to view his creations.
I especially liked the cling-films that were carried by the models. It was something very different, and that is precisely the attitude of this designer. The garments that were exhibited by the beautiful models, apparently showed an indifferent attitude towards those who thought the garments and accessories to be unconventional. It is at least something extra-ordinary, and a deviation from the feminine laces and frilly gowns.
The designer wear is created for the modern woman who is bold, confident, and courageous… some one who likes to be herself, and least bothered about what the society thinks of her style. Just be unconventional and create your own style.
Other designers flaunting their collection at the Paris Fashion Week were Tsumori Chisato, Vanessa Bruno, Balmain, Vivienne Westwood, Robert Normad, Gaultier, Dice Kayek, Stanislassia Klein, Karl Lagerfeld, John Galliano, Andrew Gn and many more.

Creative Tsumori Chisato: The Paris Fashion Week
October 4, 2007
If uniqueness comes to be mentioned, then the name of Tsumori Chisato can never be left behind. The designer is so creative and imaginative that her sense of style is original to the extreme.
She is a renowned fashion designer who achieved her fame during the 1980’s when she collaborated with Miyake’s sport collection and became its major designer. She is really an artist par excellence. The romantic spirit that is displayed in her collection is nowhere to be seen.
I like her style because it is experimental and also it is her ‘own’ creation. The distinction that her designing has been able to create in the minds of the onlookers is awesome.
Just sneak a peek at the designs and patterns of her garments. They are mind-blowing.
The amalgam of colors and designs present to us the creativity of this genius. Just look at the unusual quality and shape of her garments and also the shoes. Yu will yourself realize her expertise.
Other designers making their presence at the Paris Fashion Week include Vanessa Bruno, Balmain, Robert Normad, Vivienne Westwood, Gaultier, Dice Kayek, Stanislassia Klein, Andrew Gn, Karl Lagerfeld and John Galliano.
