The commemorative pair of Nike shoes is striking in bright metallic gold. The upper part of the shoes are decorated with Chinese motifs, laser etched for perfect finish. The gold Air Force 1 shoe will be released today (August 25th) and comes in a special box that highlights the day that the Beijing Olympics began this year: 080808. This golden number may remind football fans of the special gold sneakers that had been released for another sporting event a few years ago.
